  • Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Really annoyed! Checked my account today and my order had been held as I had been recharged for some items I had not sent back. I checked yesterday's status and it said order received. Anyway I have just paid the amount I needed to to get the order released, and when I asked whether it would still be here for Thursday as usual they said no, it would be here in 5-7 working days. Why oh why, when I have paid as soon as the order had been held, is it going to take 5-7 working days? Why can't it be here as normal.

Feel better now I've got that off my chest, but still v v annoyed!

    Missy,

I had something similar this time. I had completley forgotten to pay my previous order. I usually pay it just before I put my new order through but it slipped my mind! I checked my order status the morning after my order had to be in and it said held!! It was my biggest order yet and was worried enough about managing to get it all delivered on time without that!! Anyway, paid it off straight away (9.30 am day after) and rang customer services. They too said it would be 5-7 working days.

Anyway, I sent them a really nice email apologising for paying late and asking if they could possibly let me know when it would be delivered "as I pride myself on customer service" ;) A day of panicking later and I got a reply informing me it would be delivered as normal - phew!! It arrived as expected today (with the usual missing items!!)

Its worth keep checking online to watch the status change and see when your invoice shows up, mine followed the same pattern it usually would. Fingers x for you!! x

Aaah thanks, that has given me a little bit of hope at least. I will email them now and see if it makes any difference, although I have emailed them only once before and never got a response. I'll let you know how I get on, and thanks again. This too is my biggest order ever so really wanted to get everything delivered on time xxxx
  • Ok, i have a problem which i would really appreciate your help with....

A customer ordered two shower radios in c17. The radios were oos but are due to be delivered with c18. However, the customer has seen in c18 that the radios are cheaper and wants to pay the cheaper price.... normally i would return the items and then reorder them in the current campaign, however, there is obviously a stock issue with the radios and if i return them only for them to never come in stock again i have shot myself in the foot... SO, is there a way of getting around this or am i going to have to charge the customer the cheaper price and deal with losing money??

    Thank you.

I would charge her the lower price now - then order radios in campaign 18 and return them as if they were the earlier ones from c17 :D
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

Hmmmm well this is the latest on the school situation. I had this email from my SL:

I have been in contact with the representative concerned and explained the situation, and explained that the following territory is allocated to you : xxxxx, xxxxx, xxx. I am sure that all your existing customers will stay loyal to you and continue to order from you. The representative will continue to promote the Avon brochures through the children (parents) but this should in no means affect the door to door selling that you are doing.

Hopefully, things will settle down and once your round is established, new customers will indeed become loyal to you also.

I am not convinced that this is a resolution really. What are your thoughts ladies?? :A

**edited to add** To me this sounds like Avon are saying a rep can go anywhere to a school / organisation and offer a percentage of the commission to them and trade on anyone's patch. Not sure what I should say or do as far as my SL is concerned now. Haven't replied yet as i wanted to think it through and see what you all think.
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???
  • ah yes, i see. that makes sense. that will work as long as they have the stock in now. i hope so i was hoping to get one of these myself!
    thank you.

  • I did, they are lovely. nice and soft and comfy :D

Ta! yay that's half a dozen presents sorted:D

I got a smashing order from an elderly lady who requested me through a friend of a friend. she hadn't bought skincare for years and the last lippy she bought was a Yardley one in 1988:rotfl:

Anyway she spent £92 quid with me and offered to pay me upfront which I declined of course.

Blimey half a dozen more like her would make life easier wouldn't it:T
  • Hi Everyone,

I've not been on the forum for a while so apologies if this subject has been covered recently.

Does anyone do one-stop selling? If so, how do you find it? I'm thinking about doing it myself since winter is now upon us I don't want to be going out any more than I have to.

I'm a bit worried that it would be Avon overload if I give out the next brochure before my customers have received the order from the previous brochure. Also, some of my customers aren't very well trained and I generally have to go back twice. Do you think if I did the one-stop selling this may make them better at putting the order in when I say I'm coming to collect?

Any comments will be much appreciated.

    Thanks, Steph
  • anyone seen the online brochure for Campaign 5? I recieved an email today with the link!
