Payment Reminder
I've already asked about this on Connects and it looks like I'm fine, but the consequences if I'm not are still worrying me so I wanted to find out if anyone else had had this:
My online balance is zero and I have £9.75 in pending credits. I put the credit request in shortly after delivery day, it came off within 24 hours, my balance was adjusted, I paid off the balance. Returns are ready to go out with the next delivery.
Got an e-mail yesterday saying my balance is 9.75, not zero, and I have to pay it promptly otherwise my order will be held and I'll be charged. I rang the call centre and they said I was fine. My balance online is, and always has, shown as zero.
Probably worrying about nothing but when you get an e-mail that makes it look like the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing...If the computer says no I've got lots of people, including some new customers, who'll be waiting.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I, Geek -You should be fine. If customer services had seen it was being held they should have released whilst you was on the phone. Have you logged into your account and looked at Order tracking. This will tell you if it has been recieved by the carrier (Usually the day before you are due to receive it)
Another moan Im afraid. Am bagging up all my orders and have realised the shower gel which is OOS is the one out of the Wrap your own gift set!!! So they sorted the baskets out but not the shower gel. For god sake Avon SORT IT OUT. All I have done is write out bloody Product Availabity slips. So many I had to print more off of the web site.0 -
Hiya,
I have fiddled with vistaprint for ages and have managed to get - 250 business cards, a rubber stamper, 10 personalised xmas cards (made them for customers to go with their free xmas gifts) and a free pen, so all in all ive done pretty well!
Was wondering what other people who have got business cards put on them - there is quite a lot of space and I feel as though I am wasting most of it!! All I have so far is my name, number and email address... Was thinking of maybe putting some of the perks of avon e.g. 90 day no quibble guarantee? Any other ideas?
Thanks0 -
I have to admit I've thrown my bookmarks away - dont want any stickers putting in my books - last years offer none of my customers went for and I imagine it'll be the same this year.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

On mine that I did I had:
Avon
Chelsey c
Avon representative
Beauty that delivers
Chelsey C with my address and email address and contact number
this seems to fill most of it up, sounds like a good idea to put about the 90 day quibble guarentee
did you manage to get the 250 business cards with the free holder for them?0 -
I got around £300 worth of orders for my first campaign which was quite good yay :jhowever one lady I have tried to deliver her order 5 times and she's never there!
I saw a parcel outside her house this morning and this evening it had gone yet she wasnt in... the lights are on downstairs and the dogs there but no one else. What's going on?
Should I just return her order.

I'm not sure if i've qualified for the holder but it does say 250 cards so guess we'll have to wait and see!0 -

I would put a card through saying you've been several times and will be returning her order on .... if she doesn't contact you before then, good luck! and well done on your orders0 -

I found on the website order 250 business cards and order/recieve a holder for free, but not sure if its worked on mine until it arrives!0 -
kathcake - I would drop her a final "sorry I missed you - please call me before thursday to arrange re-delivery of your order. Unfortunately if I am unable to get hold of you I will have to return your goods to Avon" - or something like that
You can't keep playing at catching her in
I have my first £26 order from my child minder lol - I'll give her campaigne 1 next week and a few extra slips and see if she can pass them round to some of the other ladies for me in return for a present or discount
Thinking I'll struggle to reach the minimum amount for anything this month sadly - that might be my only order!
I can't take any in to work as I'm signed off with stress - can't very well waltz in and ask them to put a few books round lol Ironically I feel fine so long as I don't have to think about "work" - infact I'm finding Avon therapeutic??? Am I weird??DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0
