I had the same problem with the samples, I only had a handful or so but they were put in over 3 boxes! whats that all about!! why cant they put them all together would make sense!
I've also been looking at the bumper box, would like to know if it's any good also, I'm trying to get prepared for my ladies night I'm doing early next year, (thought if I got prepared now then it wouldnt be a mad rush!! seeings as i tend to leave things to last min!!)0 -
Shhhhh both the kids are having naps so Im here stamping my order forms. Delivery is all checked off and ready to be bagged up once kids are in bed tonight.
Was really cheeky and had a look through the drivers slips (the ones you sign to say you've recieved you order). Theres on other rep on my road but notice there is a rep on a nearby road but one of the mums from the school lives on that road and says she has never had an Avon book. Does make you think if people do recanvess their roads. Im going to do an expired brochure drop to my road.0 -
Hello Everyone,
Hope you are all ok, apart from the horrible territory issues. I think I am lucky as my SL checked my territory and I had been given a load more houses without me even knowing about it!
I was just wondering about the cash for christmas bookmarks. I don't really like the idea of customers sticking the stickers in the brochures and writing on them, as I reuse my books a few times in the campaign. Do the stickers peel off? Has anyone had any customers do this?0 -
Mini - I get the feeling they don't
As said I've lived here 4 years and never seen a brochure! But apparently my road is allocated to someone! I'm probably going to fall VERY foul of them as I just dropped some books off to about 15 houses in my road lol - oh well - I tihnk my insert at the front of the bag made it very clear I was A new rep - and asked them to put if they already got a book from an Avon rep so hopefully they won't be too angry with me if it turns out that some of them get a book from the exsisting rep. *sigh*
The allocation system as mentioned by others smells! I got 20 houses allocated... just checked them all - they're all businesses and industrial buildings!!!! We're not talking hairdressers here... we're talking metal manufacturing and small business units like mechanics... can't see them wanting to buy avon in places like that LOLDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -

I haven't given the book marks out, for this very reason... not sure what to do yetStill looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Hmmm I've had a call from one of my best customers this afternoon, she works for NHS and has an NHS discount card, apparantly she had an email today with offers, one of the offers was from Avon... 10% off when a code is quoted. She works with 4 of my other customers so guessing they'll all get it too.
Gonna be gutted if I lose those customers!!
Luckily the lady who phoned me was phoning to see if I knew about it as she obviously guessed other may take up that offer instead of ordering through me
Not sure what I can do about that. Maybe offer them the 10% through me for their next order if they do mention it. Otherwise thats almost halved my customer base straight away0 -
chasingsunshine - is the offer a one order offer. If so then I would 'match' it just to get the orders. You wouldnt be losing too much and its only once. Also do they have to pay delivery charges with the offer coz if so then wouldn't that pretty much cancel the discount out?0

Dropped some books this afternoon. One young lad of about 10 years old came up and asked me if I was the Avon lady. When I said yes, he told me his mum loved Avon so I gave him a book.
Heard him run into his house shouting "Mum, Mum! We've got a new Avon lady and I've got a book for you"
A bless.
Hopefully that will turn out to be a regular customer0 -
Sorry to gatecrash the thread but I am an Avon customer seeking advice. I bought a skincare item that came with a free gift. Unfortunately I am allergic to the item I bought but have already giben away the free gift to a friend....
Is there anyway I can return the item without the gift? I would be happy to choose something else rather than have my money back, but am not sure where I stand? I won't see my rep for a couple of weeks so wondered if anyone on here knew Avon's policy on this?0 -
Thanks Aureol will check it out and possibly seek more advice if necessary. Hope you don't mind
Just found out the school have sent mass mailings again this morning
the fund raising angle is so unfair as they are guilt tripping people as well as trying to take my livelihood.
ignore the mass mailings and do what you would normally do as a Rep. It is very easy for me to sit here and keep saying this stuff to you, but I don't want you to get demoralised and give up.
You need to remember whoever is doing this from the school, had better know what they are doing, and how they are doing it! If they get a lot of orders, how will they cope, and what will they do with refunds, etc.
You are in a much better position then they are! Get your ASM to talk to them for you and say it is not on.0
