Last year we had something similiar. When you put the orders in, they will send you the relevant number of cards, think we had to put in a code for the cards too, can't quite remember. So when you get customer's delivery, they get the card too. Then they go online and enter a code. Last year if they didn't win the cash, they got other offers.

Aureol, you are a star! It would probably be too much hassle for you though as postage etc. Can I order from HT as an extra order? Just thinking I may do that and if any new customers would like to order anything i could make it worthwhile? Has anyone received the camera? Is it any good?
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???
  • anyone ever had the Skin so Soft mineral gems glamorous gold shimmering body oil spray? I've had a customer order one and its like its solid in the bottle, thought it might be because it's so cold so left it to warm up and I have shook and shook and shook the bottle, but it's still not much like a liquid??? I can see this one going back.

And another thing while I'm on a rant - I ordered the £12.50 sample pack, why cant they pack them all together? rather than scattering them through all the boxes I've had delivered, sure they do that so you don't bother checking what they've sent you.

I have ordered that, my online invoice said some samples were oos. Did you have all yours or some oos as well?
I can't look til the baby has a nap, as his help is more of a hinderence!!!

Im on c18 at the mo and when I have been putting my orders in, it is automatically issuing the game cards, so no order code!

They are appearing on the view subtotal page.

I had this happen to a dry oil body spray. It had leaked, so I cleaned it up on the outside (couldn't re-sell but was going to give to my mum for free), then unscrewed the lid to get at the rest of the leakage and it was solid inside, like snow. This was over 24 hours after coming into the house.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Beaded napkin holders - someone mentioned on connects that people had returned these. I've now had all 3 of the 3 I sold come back because they weren't as good as they looked in the brochure. Both customers said more-or-less the same thing - not what they expected them to be like from the brochure image.

I posted something on connects recently about the quality of things that aren't "traditional Avon" (make-up, fragrances, toiletries). I think they should do what they do well and not stretch themselves too thinly. Most of the OOS issues as well have been with accessories and things.

all I can say is my customer base is spread out all over the place now, due to me picking up customers in different places, through contacts, etc and I don't have a car, so am struggling to get around them all. I can give them e-brochure link, but some like book in their hand to read, so would I! and then i still have to deliver to them. better get on still trying to sort out my stuff for party tonight  anyone tried to do the basket yet? am raffling mine off tonight, but am trying to find all the bits in the different boxes!

Thank you! Glad I have the car at least it cuts down some of the travelling time & is easier on my bubbs! Poor thing she probably hates all the driving around & delivery day!

I found my £1 & £2 stuff sells really well on the day/night of parties etc.

Mummyof2girls - hmm, don't know why your ASM didn't call the other rep to start off with either. At least they did mediate between the two of you and rightly told the other rep to back off (of both you and your street).

Your story's another example of a rep running their self-employed business how they like, and not for the benefit of customers, and then you have to pick up the pieces when you start the street.

At least if people keep books inside for you, you won't be wiping down bags - there's one positive outcome! I've got a big pile to do :(

Good luck with things - hopefully on the street that the other rep was on neighbours will recommend you to each other. Am I right in thinking that street is still yours?

Unfortunatly not my allocated roads anymore, the other rep is keeping them. But I am keeping my customers from both roads, anyone who has previously ordered from me is mine!

Lol definatly a good thing - not having to dry book bags!

All customers from those roads have my email & phone number so if they are not in when I collect the books they said they will phone or email me any orders :)
