yes, when you print, it will automatically print 2 copies, one for you, one for the return to avon.0 -
Don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't get the postcards to come up as free, even when I delete my stamper so it's the only thing in my basket....(on vistaprint)
Hmmm...
Will try again tomorrow, if anyone has any ideas before then please let me know!!
Thanks0 -
not sure why that is dingdong. It maybe the offer is only for 1 item free. Maybe just order the stamp for now and then you will get daily emails with offers, and you will probably get your own personal link for the free postcards.0

just been looking at the new c3 book that lynn kindly put up and have to say I cant wait til it comes out! I really want to try that 'lose up to 11 and half inches of each tigh' I wonder if it actually works?!!0

One of my customers buys all the items in that range, the stretch mark cream, the bust lift upper, etc. Must ask her.0

quick question about being an avon rep. Are you allowed to advertise
Avon stuff on your own website? I know you can advertise that you are a rep
on facebook, or My Space, but thats different. If you could put stuff on a Web
Site I may consider becoming a rep, but I cant see it being allowed if the customer
ordering stuff is not in your territory.0 -
i completely agree. i am not one of those people who thinks you shouldn't knock on doors unless it's your 'allotted' territory. avon doesn't know what they are doing. IMO, if you can see no one is covering a road, and the residents say they don't know anyone, i say go for it. avon is obviously not going to sort it out for us.
I asked my ASM to allocate me another road - one which is around the corner from me. Apparently there is a rep who has been allocated many streets including the one I asked for but has cherry picked - leaving other houses unserviced. I've already had a crap time working around her and other reps who are in the area.
The ASM said that I should canvass the road anyway! I'm getting fed up of the whole territory debacle tbh. If she had levelled with me I would never have signed up. I'm too long in the tooth to be duelling with other reps for territory. Fact of the matter is the area is over subscribed as are many others going by the Avon forum. it's not good for the AVON brand, the customers or the reps.

What asms are supposed to do if they know someone has cherry picked and doesn't recanvass, is remove that territory from the rep, find which house numbers they do deliver to and pass that info on, means another rep can canvass without any hassle, and all potential customers get the chance to see a brochure. A lot of asms do that, but unfortunately some can't be bothered.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

My sl has replied this morning with the following:
[FONT=Default Sans Serif,Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]'I have been trying to find out a little bit more about this situation, but have been unable to so far. Presumably, it appears that a member of staff (or maybe a parent) has started up with Avon and has decided to sell to the parents of the pupils. (There is no one in the vicinity who has started up recently) I am unaware who this representative is, as I have not appointed anyone who has mentioned that they were going to do this. (Probably a Sales Leader appointment)
Who ever is doing this has not been allocated territory in the area and I assume would just be targetting the pupils parents of this school by giving them brochures at home time. Obviously, this still leaves a lot of scope to cover the surrounding areas as not every house will have links with the school. Can you let me know what areas you are hoping to canvass and I will ensure that they are tagged to you?.'
Don't think she has read my email properly as did explain they have mail dropped the entire area. Have replied and thanked her but pointed out again that they are not just asking at home time, but claiming to be an 'avon school' and saying it benefits the school. Hoping her actions so far will help, but the school would just say that relatives of the pupils are considered f&f and that is the majority of my area so have to wait and see I suppose... Most houses do have links to the school down here though, it's the only primary for 4 miles or more in any direction.
If anyone has thoughts and suggestions I would be grateful.

missminx, tell your ASM what roads you want to canvass, get them assigned to you immediately.
Then canvass those roads regardless of whether the school rep has collared the parents or not! Do a newsletter or something saying you offer incentives and a loyalty scheme. Remember what we said about deliveries, refunds and distribution of orders. How are they going to manage?
Anyway, once you start canvassing and they see you every week or 3 weeks and realise how much easier it is to give you their order.... and if friends/family pop round who don't have an Avon lady and see their avon book and a local Rep canvassing....0
