  • Ta! yay that's half a dozen presents sorted:D

I got a smashing order from an elderly lady who requested me through a friend of a friend. she hadn't bought skincare for years and the last lippy she bought was a Yardley one in 1988:rotfl:

Anyway she spent £92 quid with me and offered to pay me upfront which I declined of course.

Blimey half a dozen more like her would make life easier wouldn't it:T

WOW, I could do with one like that!

    Hi
I did already drop her a note saying please call me to rearrange order I have tried to deliver 3 many times. Of course she didn't call...

I will put through a final card tomorrow... some people hey, gona have to pay for her order out of my commission and get it back through returns.

why do you have to pay for her order with your commission?

Just credit the items back, reason code, unable to deliver and collect money. They will be credited to your account, you only pay for the goods you have actually delivered, and make sure you give them to the courier when he delivers, so that you are not recharged for them.

Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Really annoyed! Checked my account today and my order had been held as I had been recharged for some items I had not sent back.

MissyTheCat, as long as you pay for your order by debit/credit card the day after your order was due in, and pay it by 10am, it should still be delivered on your usual delivery day. If it is paid after that, it will be delivered 2-3 days later.

are we allowed to create facebook adverts, if we do not make any references to Avon in the title? has anyone done this and has it increased your sales at all?

I did, and no it didn't.
  • hi

used to contribute here a while back but had given up on avon for a while!

been getting a few orders recently - friend of my mums has ordered a free bag, with code 69062 - she bought some anew stuff, foundation and lipstick.

Not sure what campaign she is ordering from could be 16-18, no other details, wondered if anyone had any idea what camaign/page in brochure this ciould be? ive not received anything with order so would like to find out where the offer is so I can work out how to order it for her?

    Thanks!

  • Hiya lovelies! :D
Just a quick check in from me :)
Still no orders but one in the pipe lines and still have lots of books out. Also meeting up with some girlies tomorrow and have another to meet on the weekend.
Also getting prepared for my Christmas stall! I've got all my bits of stock up together, order forms, pens, bags, samples etc.
WOndering if I should make up little avon paper bags with business cards, samples etc in to give out but not sure.
the event manager isnt sure how many people are coming.
Any suggestions? :D I want to make my stall appealing to potential new customers

I would say either the Planet Spa African Shea Butter Hand and Cuticle Cream or the Nail Experts Cuticle Balm xx

  • Its Campaign 17 I think - spend £20 on Anew and get free party perfect bag. I managed to get one through creative ordering. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the replies about my order being held everyone. I guess it is my fault as I submitted my order late but thought I would be told straight away if it was held. I didn't actually know there was more money outstanding as I am on a payment plan and have got in a bit of a muddle. I wish I'd have known earlier as I submitted my order on Sunday, and if I'd been told yesterday it was held I could have paid on Monday and it would have been here on time. Better contact all my customers and let them know xxx
