Oooo, i have my first avon party tomorrow and i'm starting to panic now!!!

There are just a few friends from work coming and my neighbour and we are having a foot spa party. I got loads of the footworks items from clearance and ive also got some of the current products to try out. I have looked and the footworks range comes back in c2 and 3 which is good. i also bought the xmas party pack from HT and have accumulated lots of smellies for people to sample so i am hoping it will all go to plan. I have a few games ready including ice breakers as some people dont know each other, so i will let you know afterwards how it all panned out and what did and didnt work. We are also having a chocolate fondue which i am really looking forward to. mmmmmmm very 80's lol.

Well, wish me luck!! i am going to finish work early tomorrow so i can do a mad dash clean of the house ready. aarrrggghhh. i have had so much going on this last week it is unbelievable. i am not going to bore you all with the details cos its completely unrelated to avon but in short my stepson's mother has been diagnosed with depression and now cant see him unless she is supervised, so he is now living with us fulltime. this is something we have wanted for ages anyway but there is all sorts of other issues related to it and my feet havent touched the ground for the last week. i have been pretty lazy with avon this campaign because there has just been too much to deal with - but at least this party will be fairly relaxed and informal.

Have just booked to have a table at a Christmas Fayre ) Very excited. Was just wondering whether we are allowed to purchase Demo products from HT once each campaign or just once in total. I bought the Fergie perfume demo last campaign in HT 1 and was wondering if I can do it again this time?

Also, some of my customers aren't very well trained and I generally have to go back twice. Do you think if I did the one-stop selling this may make them better at putting the order in when I say I'm coming to collect?

OK can I join the territory issues club please. Jsut had a really nice lady knock on my door to ask if I would like an Avon brochure. Explained that I already do this road and apparently our ASM (we dont have a SL) has told her to do this road gggrrrrr. :mad:

Have emailed ASM to clarify the roads I am currently covering and asked her to confirm that this is what it says on the map thingy.

Hi I canvassed my new territory last week, most of which are flats. I spoke to someone who lived there and she said the best way would be to leave the books outside for people to take as the security door is usually locked. Even if I did get into the building their post is all outside in locked boxes so I wouldn’t have a way of getting the book through their door. I left the books in a pile outside with a note underneath saying ‘please take one.’ I then wrote on each order form to leave the book back where they found it or put it through my door.
I have just gone to collect the books and out of the 9 that I left, there was only one. My note was also missing, but I am assuming if everyone took a book the last person may have picked it up. So now I am unsure what is happening with the 8 other missing books. I am going to check back tonight, because my order is due in tomorrow. I am not worried about getting the books back as I have finished using them. I am just concerned that someone who has taken a book may have an order and has forgotten to leave it out, but I have no way of knowing who’s who.

Chazolate - The only other way to do you flats might be to knock on each door. A pain in the !!!! but atlest you would know who is interested and who isn't. Dont know what else to do really sorry.

No idea about demo Im afraid but sure someone will know.
I'm also doing a Christmas fayre! Eeek! So excited and nervous! Never done anything like it! Thinking of having little baskets of samples or something, maybe a tin of choccies, some demo products as well as some clearance stuff they can buy on the spot and some books, order forms and business cards. What are you doing?

As far as I know you can only buy 1 of the demo products. You can back order but only if you havent ordered them so far.

Hi, you can order order a demo item from each campaign I think. I have ordered the lip gloss set from HT in two different campaigns as I wanted it one campaign and then I got an order for it on the next one. Try and add the Fergie demo to your order and view the subtotal to see what happens.

I am sure I have read on the thread before that you can order the demo items from HT in both the current and the previuos campaign but it may just be me going mad!!
