Usually C1 and C2 (if I remember correctly) are shorter. This is to fit 18 campaigns into 1 year. Some people miss out one of these campaigns as it can seem like you are bugging the customer. Some people give there customers C1 and C2 books together. I tend to do them like a normal campaign but explain to customer that they are close together. I also tend to do my spend X and get a free gift on one of these to encourage people to buy.
Had a call from my ASM and the road's issue is all sorted thank god. Just wish some of you had as much support as I do.
Delievered my orders tonight, well tried to. Lots of people out and have decided not to deliver both my areas on the same night again. Was very streessful and took ages.0 -
Just from memory, I think the shorter campaigns are 2, 3 & 4, ie the first 3 of the New Year.
You may be surprised how much you sell in those campaigns though. There is usually lots of Sale stuff & a lot of people will use it to stock up. Although your earnings per campaign will be a little lower than usual, you are earning every 2 weeks instead of every 3, so it balances out.
As to demo items, I have certainly ordered demos from 2 consecutive campaigns in the past. Not sure whether it is general practice to allow it or whether I've just been lucky'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

I don't think anyone on this forum actually practises one stop selling, so unfortunately
you aren't going to get many replies.

You need to pay your order by your order date. ie order date is Thursday, you can pay for your order on Thursday before you submit your acutal order. Avon like you to pay your invoice, within 10 days of receiving your order, but it is not always possible, especially if your customers haven't paid you!
The only time I would say you can pay by 10am the next day, the day after your order was due is when you have not been able to collect all the money. I don't suggest this as a regular practice as you may find your orders being held.0 -
Around Christmas, they change the delivery dates, to ensure people get their deliveries.
They also shorten the campaigns but lower the MoV but leave the HoV the same. I did all the campaigns last year, and with the lowered HoV achieved HoV, and had different customers buying in both campaigns.0 -

I'm really intrigued about these xmas fayres, where are they being held at? I'm pretty interested at holding a stall myself but wouldn't know where to find one!
Thanks!
My Xmas fayres are being advertised on netmums.com, of which I am a member, it is free to join. Also I know someone who runs the church one and she invited me to have a stall.
The others I have had to pay for, this one will be free, as she has just asked for a donation to charity from my profits.
also local schools will be having Xmas Fayres, fetes, etc. Check your local papers.0 -
Hi ladies
Well finally hit MOV for C18 - not having a good one.
Quick question, I want to return some products from C17. It says I must return them by 20th December.
If I don't return them by then, when will I have to pay for them?
(Ok thats a lie, they are xmas presents I cant afford to pay for as yet)
Thank you
If you don't return them by 20th December, they will re-charge you on your next invoice.0 -

Don't know what to do about brochures though as I dont really want to give out all my current ones and am reluctant to give out previous campaign ones too as I use them to canvass. What do you think about putting out old ones for people to take, with a note saying, if you like what you see contact me for a current brochure? Do you think this would lose a few potential customers if it's not current?
you can backorder demo items. NOT clearance items.
I had current books at my rubbish avon party on monday, picked up 2 new orders. They read the books then and wrote out their orders and gave me the books back.
I think using expired brochures can lose you some customers. Some people may take the expired book but never get around to contacting you for a current one. Some may contact you for the current one. Some may give you orders there and then.
Some may prefer to take a current book, so they can place an order.0
