My Xmas fayres are being advertised on netmums.com, of which I am a member, it is free to join. Also I know someone who runs the church one and she invited me to have a stall.
The others I have had to pay for, this one will be free, as she has just asked for a donation to charity from my profits.
also local schools will be having Xmas Fayres, fetes, etc. Check your local papers.
I've got a job to get my head round netmums! maybe cos I always go on there late at night! how do I find out bout the christmas fayres on there? sorry for asking a silly question- havin a bad evening0 -

Have emailed ASM to clarify the roads I am currently covering and asked her to confirm that this is what it says on the map thingy.
I hit a similar problem today when collecting in my books. Road I've been given is already covered. Did pick up one order though but looks like I've lost most of my books.
I wasn't happy with the roads I'd been given and to date have phoned Avon twice with assurances that they would get the ASM to contact me within 48 hours - I'm still waiting. Did get an e-mail from ASM - telling me about C18 - too late luv, the books were already out, which also had her contact details on. E-mailed her at the weekend. Still waiting for a reply.
Phoned her tonight. Surprise, surprise an answerphone. Still waiting for her to return my call and no doubt I'll still be waiting this time next year!!!
No wonder so many new reps pack it in very quickly. I am fed up with it after only 3 weeks.
If ASMs can't do their jobs or can't be bothered, then they should lose their ASM status :mad:0 -

not a silly question!
Log into your area, and it is netmums.com not mumsnet.com, they are 2 different sites.
When you are logged in, on the tool bar, will be a tab, Local Boards, Noticeboard and also What's On.
With the Noticeboard, people usually say they are having a fayre or a fete and have room for more stalls, and ask people to contact them.
With the What's On, contact the organiser who is advertising and ask them if they have any stalls available.0 -
Thank you aureol! have now found a few in my area which I might contact!

Which campaigns are short depends on what mailplan & area you are - mine are c1 & c3, c2 runs over Xmas and new year so is a 3 week campaign. You'll have 2 campaigns that are 2 weeks. Mov is reduced over 2-4 to £52 so easy to still earn a bit of something. Yes you're delivery day is likely to be different to help fit it all in.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Morning all!
I'm feeling happy today, spoke to my aunt last night who wants me to pop round with a book so she can order some face cream
That'll be my first order this campaign and may well be my only one:eek:
Still hoping I'll get some over the weekend but if I dont... Hey ho! Bit disappointed cos I've hit HOV on my previous campaigns and wanted to get a good smart start gift
Baby woke me up at 6am this morning (2hrs early for him) So while he was having breakfast I got on vistaprint to take up yet another "free" offer. Got 25 magnets, 100 postcards (which I've put a discount code for first 2 orders over £25) and a pen all for £5.35 delivered, going to be handing them out on my stall. Not bad price, especially if it gets me some more customers0 -
Well my C17 order has now been delivered to me (Tuesday - thanks to Elliebee for her help and assistance in creating some order from the chaos!) and mostly delivered to the customers. It's lovely how pleased and excited most folk are to see the stuff, and the number of customers that asked about their next book too - "You'll find it in the bag with your order" of course!
Just have a few to go back on - two didn't have the money handy and want me to call back today, and another two weren't in so will call back there as well - and will be armed with slips to put through the door if I don't catch them this time.
C18 seems to be going well so far - I've passed HOV anyway which is the main thing. Apparently I was also the top new rep in my area for C17 which I was chuffed about! :j I felt I'd done OK, but didn't expect to be top!
Another one here who is a little annoyed about the unexpected change in delivery dates prior to Christmas - I do a regular days work for a client on a Monday and now find that I have an Avon order turning up on Monday 20th, meaning I have to rearrange my regular day, and also meaning that the client may well, with christmas in mind, simply say skip one day that week, thus losing me a hell of a lot more than I can earn from an Avon Campaign. It's infuriating considering I was clearly tld when I signed up that my delivery day would "always" be a Tuesday, and have made my arrangements accordingly.
Good luck to those doing parties and Fayres in the run up to christmas by the way - you're far, FAR braver than I am!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

EH, I think when people are signed up, those signing them up forget about the Christmas/New year books. I must admit I forgot until people started mentioning it.
My party on Monday was rubbish, made a loss, but picked up 2 new orders. Only small ones, but hopefully they will become regulars. Problem is now I am getting more and more spread out with my customer base. Need a car!
I've got a school fayre tomorrow, so need to prep for it tonight. Otherwise am going to have to send a lot of stuff back to avon!0 -

Are you still looking to go back to avon full time?
It is a shame about your party but like you say at least you have picked up some new orders from it. I am going to do a 'recommend a friend' offer tonight and if their friend orders within next 2 campaigns they get a free gift. I am hoping that after they are excited about the amazing products avon offers (?!) they will be enthused to sign up a friend. lol. i am cheating really because my attendees are all people i know but i am still really nervous. more about the state of my house than the actual party though! if only people werent so judgemental... or maybe its just me being paranoid.i need a holiday
