Aureol - my OH's mother lost a ring once and years later, it turned up in her spice rack!

I'm wondering whether my ring ended up in the wash and caused my old washing machine to die on me....

Will have to further investigate code for 'no alternatives to be sent', as, as !!!!!! Here said earlier, I'm sure there used to be one.

Funnily enough I noticed this in my HT this time. Its on the very back page under 'Stock Availability' the code is 82404. Hope that helps! x

Double thanks Avon Alex! - that code number seems vaguely familiar:)
RIP Marmaduke 04.02.11, MIsty 09.06.12 and Rufus 19.7.24 very, very sadly missed xxx

  • Hiya, hope you dont mind me asking but a while ago someone posted that they had dropped a leaflet in people doors saying that they did avon and to contact them if they wanted a book. Im thinking of doing that but what should I write on the note.

Im not doing well with it anymore and rather that waste my time dropping books at new houses, which I probably wont get back. I thought a note with my business card would be easier. It would help me gain a few customer maybe.
  • A good day yesterday! My daughter sees her dad through a contact supervisor (long story). She came to collect her and I apologised for the Avon books everywhere and explained I'm now an Avon rep and if she wanted a book to let me know. She was really enthusiastic and took a book and 12 order forms, as she says she'll take it into the office, where there are 12 girls working!! I took the chance to give her a C17 and C18 book and also a couple of samples and gave her a spray of my perfume, which she loved. She says she's going to do a lot of her Christmas shopping from there!

Woo hoo! Really hope I get some good sales from this as I really need the money for Christmas...don't we all! :)

Mine is on the previous page to attach to expired brochures - that way it gives people a chance to see that avon is more than just make-up and get an idea on prices too. Tried and tested, got a lady to drop a book to later who contacted me from an expired brochure drop:
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

Ooooh, that sounds like a good idea
  • Last week I ordered my Quidco/vistaprint business cards, I have also decided to order professional fliers to put out rather than losing my brochures as bought in bulk it is economical. I did all this, only to find my local primary school has decided to do Avon and not only are they advertising to all the parents but have mail dropped my entire area. Strangely they didn;t mail drop me - could this be because they want me to pay £10 to do my Avon at their Xmas Fair do you think??

I was told not to canvass where there are already reps and I have respected this only to find the school ruining things for me. They have Support the School all over it. If I hadn't laid out money on all my advertising etc I would have told Avon where to stick it, I have to say. Surely this is unfair?? What would you do? Any replies much appreciated. Am I being over sensitive?
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

A school doing Avon??? Wouldn't have thought they would have the time. Can't really offer any advice but I would be well peeved especially as they've asked you to do a stall. Pretty sure they can't just go dropping to houses on your territory, have a word with ASM maybe.

I dont think your being over sensitive at all. That's very bad of the school to do that, Is the area they have mail dropped your territory by any chance?
