Obviously it won't always get a response, depends on if theres anyone interested who doesn't already receive a brochure, but its a good way of catching peoples attention. A leaflet people might just throw in the bin, a book is more substantial and means people can see the sorts of things they can buy.

hi all

got my first order yesterday:j but it was from my mum:rotfl::rotfl:shes ordering about £40 worth of products. Im still having no luck with the territory ive been given

ive just read a previous post about leaflet dropping instead of putting books through, that sounds like a good idea

An order is an order eh? My mum is one of my best customers haha

I'm also thinking about the leaflet drop! Will get my hubby to distribute them for me as Im not able to walk far. Its a really good idea, just trying to think what to put on the leaflet to make it eye catching

Is this big drive on leaflet dropping going to encroach on existing reps territory? I can see how it will save brochures but a big leaflet drop isn't dissimilar to what the school is doing to missminx. I know reps should be looking after their territory but I would hate to lose a potential customer that I'm holding back on recanvassing for a few months.

Re the school drop - hopefully its a new rep who doesn't realise that avon can be hard work with late orders, returns etc.etc. Hope the leaflets are quoting what percentage the school gets, if not, maybe a telephone call can confirm how much commission the school earn from this.

Hopefully not, I'm only going to be doing streets that I know dont have a book. My road, and roads I have friends living on who have told me dont have a book
