Afternoon all!
Have just recieved some good news, which has put me in a good mood!!
I've been advertising that I do AVON on my local free/for sale sites just to get the message across to others and it seems to have worked as a woman has emailed me saying she is doing a ladies night in Feb was was wondering if I would be interested in doing a table. I thought why not! what a good way of others knowing that I do AVON! She is doing it in aid of prospect and has asked to donate some money of what I get on commission towards the charity (its a charity that i try to support when I can), so anyway she has said that another woman turned her down due to her not being allowed to or something.

maybe this woman didn't want to make a donation, husband not interested, etc,

Nothing stopping you having a stand. x

thats what I was thinking! so ive now got my name down for a table! time to get creative ordering and ordering demo's etc I think!

Afternoon all and more ((((hugs)))) for Aureol,

I really hope your precious ring turns up soon - unfortunately mine never did. £1300 worth of ring and no insurance......I still hope it will turn up some day as losing it broke my heart.

Is there an order code we can use to ensure no alternative Avon items are sent when products are unavailable? I have always found myself having to return alternative goods

Well went to help a lovely rep with a coffee morning she was doing...but annoyed, 5 hours out of my weekend spent and the only people to turn up was her mum and a friend. Shame for her as she spent money hiring the hall and on refreshments etc. One of those things I suppose.

On the plus side oh delivered some expired brochures for me yesterday to some of my territory and had a request for a current brochure - recanvassig with minimal effort as no going back to pick up books with no orders, or not getting them back.

Rang Avon again last night as I had waited the required 48 hours for the ASM to contact me which she hadn't.

They said they would tell her to contact me urgently. I'm still waiting.

If ASM's can't do their job, then they should not be ASMs.

I am holding back putting out the brochures until I hear from the ASM (except to friends).

I live 600 miles from family so that is not an option, don't have young children so no contact with playgroups etc., don't go to pubs or clubs and hubby is self-employed.

I'm happy to travel for territories too as I have a car but can't get things moving until I hear from the ASM.

I am losing potential earnings and Avon is losing potential sales - all for the want of a simple phonecall or e-mail.

That to me, is very bad business.

We got him a height chart, put the pen and stickers somewhere safe.... grrr... can't find them, and he has had a growth spurt... and as for my engagement ring..... grrrrr

i bet you theyll all be in the same place! i'd love to remember where my 'safe place' is. i hope you find your ring soon.x

i have just had a little gander at vistaprint and at the moment they are offering 250 free business cards and get a free holder for them, also get a free pen with whatever you want wrote on it for free!! and have also found loads of other free bits including t-shirt, address stamp, labels, can post the link up for you if it would be easier, thought would share with you all x

hey lozza. when you recanvass with your old books what do you put with them? presumably you dont bag them? do you put a sticker on the front or a leaflet with them? and what do you say on your leaflet? thank you.

think the t-shirts are only free if you dont put anything on them as I put the new slogan 'beauty that delivers' on it and it went up to 6.99!!
