Is your heating ON or OFF?

Very much on. I get so cold these days so I put it on all the time unless I feel too hot, which is rarely. I would sooner sacrifice anything else than a warm home.0

A bit of both.
I am having some pretty severe money problems this week, thanks to several big unexpected payments having wiped out my savings and left me with £0
But i am sure we'll survive with lots of layers and thick blankets and duvets!0 -
Our Ch is on. Far to cold to celebrate the big turn off yet.
7am - 8am and again about 5pm -8pm.
If I feel really cold I over ride at lunch time for about 2 hours or light the coal fire. The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -
Mine is on for now but it won't stay on much longer than about 20mins. I have on a short sleeve top, a long sleeve top, a long, thick, hooded cardi and a blanket over me and I'm still freezingNo more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. Seriously fed up with being cold - heating is very much ON and worse than that, I have an electric radiator which is also on...
Dreading the bill when it comes but I refuse to be cold. I really feel for people who can't afford to have their heating on, and esp those whose boilers aren't working or who have power cuts.
Warmth should be taken for granted in my opinion, not something that may or may not be afforded0 -
Well i was hoping by the 1st of April to be turning my storage heater off. But no chance!!! Ive found this year by actually leaving it on everyday (except for 5 days whilst i was away) ive used less electric heating it up. It took over 60+ units of night time electric to get my lounge warm over 2 days when i had to switch it off. Whereas it takes only over 150+ units to heat the lounge over 7days. So like i say apart from the 5days ive been away the storage heater has been on constantly since end of September 2012.0

Off
only because the boiler suddenly stopped working which also means we have no hot water. BG were meant to come out today, but surprise! they didn't and now we have to wait until Monday for them to look at it.
We live in a rural area so temperatures overnight are expected to be at least -5. The little skinny dog is currently wearing a t-shirt, and the other two will have an extra blanket in their beds.
At least we've got a wood burning stove so the living room is warm0 -
Haven't used the heating since we moved into this place (July last year). It's electric heating and quite frankly, we're scared of the cost! We have a standalone gas heater that we buy bottles for occasionally, at least that way we know how much we've spent on it, so that has been on today.0

No my heating is still on as my joints don't work well if it gets cold, even with extra jumpers and a wooly hat I still feel the cold badly so my heating is a nessesary evil at the moment0

I too would love to think that we could keep it off it being the 1st April tomorrow but it's so cold. It is kept off most of the day going on at about 5pm, we do light the gas fire if my parents call in though.
