It was nice first thing, but we now have a lot of fog which as cooled the air down consideribly, hence the fire is now a light now, at least the nights are starting to pull out....................0

Yes the GCH is on ,its too dam cold without heat, I will turn it off a bit later when I sit down and light the fire to sit beside instead of the GCH .......0

My central heating is still off. In fact, I haven't bothered to light the pilot yet. Occasionally I put the gas fire on for an hour. Thermometer's telling me that it's 8.1 C. Last gas bill was £18 for the quarter.0

i have had the heating on today but have turned it off now and hae the gas fire on in the sitting room and my candles lit.
I think it is far too cold not to have the heating on, I get asthma and am find that although the cold aggravates it so does the dry heat0 -
Just a quick post, my heating is on, but its quite low, the only place that doesnt seem to heat up suffiently is my bedroom, but by the time I go up there I just want to dive into bed with my hot botties
