I've been Money Tipped! Debt-free and Proud!
I have started bringing the duvets off the beds and downstairs on the sofa during the day now.
I managed not to put my heating on yesterday evening at all by doing this. I need to dig out the hot water bottles again too.

Fed up with being cold now :(

2 storage heaters on here (1 upstairs and 1 down) and we've had the stove lit in the evenings.

We are on day 10 of deep snow and it has been falling to -8 at nights so we're in no position to go without heating yet!
  • ive just put my heating on (CH)in the living room and small tiny radiator in bathroom as it has no control on it, when i put it on i had £7.46 in the meter i will check again in an hour to see how much ive used:eek:

We have managed to get it to timer only so it's on before we get up and then in the evening before we go to bed. However it is still so cold and not helped by my new meds which make me feel cold after taking as well.... well known side effect apparently ...... hot water bottles and thermal everythings as well
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D
  • Thats the hour up and i used 20p for the 2 radiators at 62c and control on high No5???

I am so bloody bored with this weather now, it's been snowing on and off all day here again, thankfully not settling, but come on, enough is enough.

I was out walking with the dog yesterday, everywhere still looks so bare, it's April, time for the countryside to wake up, but most of it is still covered in snow, ice or water.

I really, really hope we get a good summer after all this crap, it seems like the longest winter ever, thoroughly depressing.
