Had ours on a couple of times so far. I've got a arthritis though and boy does the damp and cold make me feel worse
We run an ebac dehumidifier too. Seems to make a world of difference (well we empty the tank often enough!). Just out of interest though, where do you get the humidity monitors from?
ThxLissa

Sadly, my heating wont come on until around december. My landlord controls the heating by a thermostat set to 18c in the warmest part of the house. my room is the coldest part of the house and there have been times where ive woken, greeted by seeing my own breath.Total debt Aug 2012: £3800, Nov: £3225, Dec: £3151.45 2013: Jan: £1544.24 :j Feb: £1492.03

Ours is still of......but......I did have to put it on for an hour last Thursday morning due to getting caught in a massive pour down on the way home from school and the kids school shoes were dripping wet inside so I popped them on the radiator to dry them out (along with their backpacks that were still soaking wet as well!).2 adults and 3 children DD (14), DD (12) & DS (10) :smileyhea and 2 mental beagles.

I put our storage heaters on Friday & Saturday as my daughter was back from uni, weighed down with dirty washing, so wanted to get it dry for her (no tumble dryer here). But its off and staying off 'till it gets colder.0

Ours is coming on for an hour in the mornings at 5:30am, so the house isn't nippy when I get up after 6 to have a shower. And it's been on in the evenings a couple of times but trying to limit that. It's been so hard to get clothes dried though as we have no tumble dryer, so the only way really is to put the heating on for a few hours or they start to smell a bit damp.0

Haven't put the central heating on yet but have lit a log fire a couple of times - only using a few logs, just using it to warm the living room up and then letting it go out again. Got to be cheaper than putting on the central heating.

We put ours on for 1 hour on Friday evening, but that was just to make sure it was working. I dont wamt to put ours on again for at least another month, even longer if possible.0

I am planning on testing mine soon too. But like you say, it won't come on again for at least a month longer. Hoping to hold out until December but that depends on my health xA Bag A Month Challenge member0
