Is your heating ON or OFF?

Still off here in Sunny Suffolk.
Mind you - heated socks, a quilted shirt and a snuggie are all in use now. The house is tending to hold mostly at 14C - but any lower and I might have to turn the heating on. I'm kinda challenging myself to see how far into December I can get.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. We have a thermostat for the central heating that can be moved around. We keep it in the room that we sit in - it was in the hall, which is always colder. When this room heats up to 17 degrees - when I can remind hubby to close the door - which it does quite quickly the heating switches off and the hall is still down around 12 - 15 degrees. That movable thermostat saves us quite a bit of money.Clutter free wannabee 2021 /52 bags to cs. /2021 'stuff' out of the placeYOU CANNOT BE ALL THE GOOD THAT THE WORLD NEEDS, BUT THE WORLD NEEDS ALL THE GOOD YOU CAN BEtaken from Shelbizleee on YouTube - her copyright0

Still off. Have just got the bill from the last quarter up to Dec 1 and we've done amazingly well. According to the graph tool on Eons website in October and November this year we have used 80% less gas than the same time last year. I've also managed to cut down electricity usage slightly (I turn the tv and Virgin box off during the day as they seem to eat electric and we are using the kettle on the gas hob rather than the electric one).0

I went into the kitchen this morning and it was 9C. This was even after the heating had been on for 2 hours. It might've been colder (it certainly felt it!) but that's as low as the temperature thing from Scarf goes. It says we're at danger of hypothermia! I'm sitting here with a fleece blanket wrapped round me and I can't feel my nose. Really cold here today - several cars have went off the road due to the icy conditions round here - just been on the radio. Heating is most definitely back on after it's alloted 2 hours this morning.0

Ours was on for 30 mins this morning to warm up the bedroom. It was so cold this morning my partner didn't want to get out of the nice warm bed, lol. As he had to get up for work we put it on (thankfully no need to get out of bed to turn it on). Will have to work out how to use the timer on it so it goes on at least 10 mins before we get up and is only on for 30 mins.I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy0

my living room is definitely colder if I have either the kitchen door or the hall door open, so my DD is getting told off regularly now to "shut that door!!"0
