Still not having to have it on here! It's starting to get a bit colder as well, I can only assume we're getting lots of heat from flats around (we're nicely sandwiched in the middle - one above, one downstairs, one either side!) The bathroom is rather nippy since it's got three outside walls, so I don't know how long we'll hold out when it comes to having it on briefly for showers.
Last year we were under the duvet on the sofa at this time, so it's definitely mild in comparison.February Grocery Challenge - £100.87/£180February Don't Throw Food Away Challenge - £0.60/£1.500 -

I do have my heating on inside though.

Been nice and sunny here today, but a bit nippy, got the washing dried nicely, little tumble to finish off the towels, got roses out in the garden , and second flush of white daisies, loads of old english marigolds, osteospermums, and verbena boneriensis, my garden looks as good now as it did in the summer.........Central heating on now.......0

I was out all day today, from 8am to 8:30pm and left the small upper window shutters open because I will have fresh air every day whatever the weather. Fairly chilly day today with a more than bracing breeze, so when I got home I kept my coat on for 15 minutes while I heated the place up a bit. On on low now, and I'm still not using as much heating as I did this time last year. Hot cuppas do help.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0

If you replace heating with 'jumper' and you'll be getting closer. It was a bit chilly earlier so i put a jumper on.0

We must have a warm glow around Preston. Even last winter it only snowed for one day; ok it was pretty deep and a bit of a nightmare after for a few days but unlike pretty much the rest of the UK, we got bugger all.0

I'm still bidding for heaters on eBay! I won't be heating my flat until I get a bargain
Bit annoying at work, actually, that the girl who sits next to me won't let me open a window because she gets cold. She's wearing a vest top !!!!!!! I'd much rather snuggle into my woolly jumper and get some fresh airMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
