Is your heating ON or OFF?

Its been very foggy and dark all day with a fine mist but its also been very muggy and warm.
I'm just loving this warm November weather.
My only worry is that the power companies put the prices up again to compensate for lost revenue at this time of year when we should all be needing heat.
We're sitting here in our PJs no heating, not even the need for a throw watching TV with only scented candles giving us a warm glow, its positively heavenly.
Long may it last.

CH still not been required here yet. We`re all adequately warm (without extra layers, hottie bottles, or fluffy footwear- I`m in flip-flops indoors, DGD & son mostly barefoot, OH NEVER bears his feet till horizontal but normal socks & comfy old shoes are his thing.)
Oven or grill sometimes contribute to this `warm enough` thing when I`m cooking, and a small fire, one medium log, in LR hearth, sometimes lit as late as 9.30pm, sometimes 5 or 6 pm.. warms the very core of the house, effect seems to last all next day - even when doors left open for daftie-dog to saunter in/out!0 -
Ours is on for an hour in the morning (30 minutes at 4:30 for me to get up at 5, and 30 minutes at 6:30 for the guys to get up at 7) and an hour in the evening 7-8, I time my laundry when it's damp to finish at 7pm so it can go on the radiators."There is no substitute for time."

I decided not to by a thermometer and we have a very old heating system.
In my own brand of logic I decided that, should I be able to see the temperature it would act as some sort of shoulder demon trying to make me switch it on!! :rotfl::rotfl:Aiming to be Debt free by October 20130 -
