Is your heating ON or OFF?

There were butterflies in the garden this morning - on Rememberance Sunday.
The only heating on is the storage heater in the bedroom..and that's down low, just enough to take the chill off the room.
I haven't even had the fire going yet.
Another beautiful day - just hoping we won't be paying for it all come January.
Keep warm.:hello:0 -

I`m very jealous of everyone with nice sunny weather *goes green with envy*

We don`t seem to have had any proper daylight for days.
I`ll be lighting candles soon to cheer the place up a bit

Off here, have had it on very briefly twice for about half an hour, but have had a few log fires, and have an everhot, long may it last, need to keep the bill down, although the leccy bill will make up for the low gas bill.
Thermostat is often saying 18 without any heating on!

Its cooling very quickly this evening, those clear skies made today gorgeous but tonight we might feel it a bit keenly I think. I've got the hot water on for an early bath and hair wash, and don't want to light the woodburner, so might drag through an electric heater if its freezing after that, but I'd like to avoid it if possible.
edit: absolutely no need for heater after bathIts really comfortable in the house. I wonder if winter might last till May next year, its so late starting!

It doesn't seem to have got light here today. the fog hasn't lifted all day and it's been damp amd miserable. Still not cold enough for the heating, one of my sons is wearing just pyjama bottoms and the other shorts and tshirt - no socks.

I've got 2 radiators on at the moment. It's probably not that cold for most people, but I'm recovering from surgery, so want to stay warm and cosy. Once I'm back to normal, the heating will come off again. Am also snuggled under a duvet, as it's comfy0
