Is your heating ON or OFF?

It's rather chilly here tonight, and I have HUGE windows which, although double glazed, form practically the entire north side of my flat - the coldest side even on sunny days. So I've carted my lappy and stuff into the kitchen, closed the door, and put a gas ring on. Keeps me toasty and it's not too expensive. Of course I keep a pan of water on it to boil for tea instead of using the electric kettle.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0

I might buy myself a romper suit http://www.the-all-in-one-company.co.uk/
I just need to find a place that doesn't bang on about being environmentally friendly and doesn't make them 'with love'0 -
Well it's that time of year again!
The heating is ON. My whole family were complaining and in their PJs plus dressing gown so I gave in. I'm glad I did as my bones are aching as I sit at the PC all night playing poker.
Hopefully a big win will allow me to put the heating on for longer.
Welcome to winter, everyone.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I even went to Primark today and bought 2 sets of PJs (always been an au naturel girl before) and some cheap boot slipper thingys. Now all toasty and they should last me the winter!

Arrrghhhh!! Ashamed to say I caved and the heating is now...ON
5yr old DD getting into bed with me and putting her ICE cold feet on me at 5am was one deciding factor...then mum coming to visit and still sat in her bodywarmer at 5pm finally did it for me so(very!!) reluctantly put it on.
Has to be said it is only 4 degrees outside, was 9 in my kitchen earlier and now the house is toasty warm but feel kind of sad that I missed my 1st november target damn it! :rotfl:
I need some snow or something now to justify these warm radiators!!!!:pSlightly mad mummy to four kidlets aged 4 months,6,7 and 8:D:D xx
