Just interested if it's as bloomin' cold everywhere as it is down the east coast.....
well i dont want any mocking because i know us people south of london are a bit wimpy when it comes to the cold :rotfl: but it is 5 degrees here currently!

Currently 14.5C inside, and 3.5 outside, with no heating on. I can't turn it on anyway as it's not being fitted until 7th November.0

Wouldn't dream of it!;)
That's chilly ........ just taken the bins out and it's down to 2.6 deg (thermometer at the back door so a bit sheltered) and probably a bit colder in the field at the back.
Think we may have a frost tonight!:(
(might just go and put the timer on the heating so it's not toooooooo cold when I get up - haven't done this yet as was hoping I'd be able to put it off again tomorrow)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

In my kitchen in Wiltshire it is now 9 degrees. It will be warmer in bed because the electric blanket will go on, and the dogs are warmer as their room has a low ceiling and is south facing. I won't make the dogs go cold, whatever happens.

Its colder here tonight but I'm warm and snug with a fleece and my PJs on.
As I've said before I realy dread putting the heating on as I find it a very uncomfortable heat.
I much prefer layering as it makes me more comfortable.0 -
EEEK! Its ON!!!
Its 1 degree outside and baltic, i was actually looking at the indoor temp as it changed to 12 and decided to put it on.
Air was in the system and its taken almost 3 hours for all the rads to get fully hot and now its reached 19 indoors so i`ve turned it right down.
The thermostat is old and the settings don`t reflect the temp at all so i shall find the right setting over the next few days and then leave it to click on and off as it pleases.
Little old doggie looks a lot happier now, he has a heart condition so has to be kept warm - he is still snuggled up on his bed inside a sleeping bag thoughThe younger hound who couldn`t care less has just been running around in the garden having a mad few minutes, she`s long enough to curl up though so isn`t usually bothered. Shes a real outsidey type dog and shè`s just returned home from a few days camping with DH yesterday.
Ill put money on me having to scrape the car down in the morning.
Keep warm peeps.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -

I had a look at the BBC map and I think Yorkshire was one of the coldest places in the country.0 -

Sunnydays - keep warm, that's .... baltic!
For you both - funnily enough, someone's just started a thread over on the pets board about what people do to keep their cats warm in winter ...... glad to see the pooches are just as pampered! (Mine's a "cold boy" and hates the heat but is now getting on so will be wearing his winter coat when we go out in the mornings)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
