Is your heating ON or OFF?

Have had it on. Wife hasn't been feeling well for the last few weeks. However, only need to put it on for 30min and you need to open windows, but on is on.0

Still off here but to fair it's pretty mild temperature-wise despite the rain. We are in a terrace and our sandwiched house seems to benefit from the extra insulation. It's rare I put the heating on, other than the downstairs fire until the real winter hits.MSE-ing since 20070

Off still here. I thought it was really warm here yesterday (Sunday) and we had the back door and windows are all open which is unusual. Pretty windy here again today so trying to dry some washing on the line before I leave for work.
Didnt need to put the heating on for bath night (for the kids) last night but I am sure that will soon change! Myseolf, DH, DDs1&2 are all in short sleeves and DS is in long sleeves with a vest seeing as he doesnt move about as much as we do!
Am hoping to get to November but if it gets really cold then I will put it on before then and just keep an eye on useage etc. EDF keep making mistakes with our direct debit so I have to keep an eye on them now anyway sneaky lot!2 adults and 3 children DD (14), DD (12) & DS (10) :smileyhea and 2 mental beagles.

Still off. 20c today falling to 15c by the end of the week apparently, so still aiming for November before I put it on.
I'm still way too hot at night which I can't really understand. The only thing we've changed is the duvet but we went from a 13tog to a 10tog because I found the thicker one too hot, but I swear the new one is warmer than old one!0 -
Ours is off, but I have put the flannelette bedding on today and the duvets under the bottom sheet, so we'll all be snuggly and warm in bed!0

Had my boiler fixed and so I am able to have heating on if I want, and hot water!! bliss
But I'm still too mean to put heating on yet, will just add another jumper and blanket when I sit in front of tv. Mind you, my coldest place is the bathroom and kitchen, can't really go round in a blanket to the loo and to cook meals in the freezing cold kitchen.
But it looks like a hard winter so at least the boiler works.KEEP CALM AND keep taking the tablets :cool2:0 -

Felt chilly for the first time on Saturday afternoon and just chucked a fleece throw over me. If it carries on like this (meant to be around 18c all week down here) I should make it to end of the month easy0
