Do you have any links so I can see what you mean?
(He is soooo boney)
This one for the fleece (although that dog couldn't be less grey shaped the coats do fit greys well.)
and this for the t:
http://www.equafleece.co.uk/store/T-shirt_Dog_Suits.html
on a slightly better shape for you to see the fit.
We use the t as a light coat when we are perhaps being soft for her or in the house, or sometimes under more traditional shaped dog coats (which we find rub greys usually and don't fit that well).
My skinny dawg comes out onto the yard with me at about 6am and thats two hours of dark coldness atm, just not on at all for an unprotected grey, and we looked for ages before finding the fleece suits which are just superb. Her ''sister'' is not a greyhound and doesn't wear a coat often at all...like a couple of times a year, but greyhound has been wearing hers all the time recently, t's in the house fleeces outside.
The other thing is the fleeces move well with them for a sprint after a bird or a rabbit;);) no slippage.
eta: my grey also gets a heat lamp when it REALLY cold. we don't have them upstairs since we moved, and I really miss them, especially now its cold, but e have one in season now, so....heat lamp in the kitchen overnight it is0 -

Those links are great - thanks so much.
My dog wouldn't sprint even if there were food in it
He's barely loving his walks at the moment, even with a coat on and last year he was horrified when it was icy and his feet moved on their own.
Puzzled and worried him no end. Poor soul.0 -

Glad to help. Mine is loving it. when her feet get cold she goes and stands in a barn for a bit, until something catches her eye and she's off again. I just love her to bits, she is a fabulous companion and a tremendous comedian but I worry about her in the cold outside at this time of year.0 -
Please will you stop doing this on this thread
Most people who do not have their heating on have different priorities to you, that is all.
It does not mean they are not looking after their families or they don't manage their finances well or any of the other things that I have seen you imply since you joined this thread.
Healthy people who can move around, have other sources of heat (even blankets and hot water bottles) do not necessarily need the heating on constantly.
Of course everyone needs to stay healthy but this thread is about support and advice, no implied criticism for those who do not have their heating on for whatever reason.
I would be just as disappointed to hear someone constantly make little digs at people who did have their heating on alot or set on high - people make their own individual choices and those deserve to be respected.
I am sorry if my post came accross that im critisising other members, but I can assure you that it was not intended that way...with respect..0 -
This post is not specifically linked to this thread so may be removed. But I wouldn't have cared how cold I got earlier on today if my 5 year olds school had opened. I should have been queueing up outside for half an hour, to get the best seat in the house, to see him in his first nativity. I spent ages making that flaming star costume. It has now been delayed and he is upset about that as I am. I have felt down about it all day as its one of those "moments" in your kids life that you look forward to and cherish.
This goverment has alot to answer for not getting properly prepared for harsh winters. This is the 8th year in a row now that my area has had snow and bad conditions during winter. As a teacher myself it annoys me that we are hampered in getting in and being able to do our best for the kids.0 -
really sorry to hear that, i hope they postpone it for you x
our school is closed again tomorrow with the kids missing there christmas bazaarDebt free

Thanks for your kind words, obviously it did come across the wrong way, I definately dont come on here to upset anyone and it wasnt my intentions to do so......
To be honest it's not the only post of yours that I've winced at a little bit
However, as debtmess says - it's easy to word things the wrong way when typing rather than saying.
So let's all be friends again :j
As I'm sure we both agree, everyone stay healthy0 -

I read the post over and over and couldn't see anything wrong with it.
I've never known you write anything critical or offensive - misunderstanding I guess0
