Hi MSers
Its going a bit chilly here now and I think its going to be dark early tonight.
I've not put any heat on yet but I have brought out one of my lovely snuggle blankies that I have been knitting ready for winter.
If it gets any colder I might have to put a heater on
My electricity and gas bills are like the national debt at the best of times without putting them on until the last possible moment.
Its funny how the pets love you so much more when its chilly

Put my heating on last night just to boost the air. Made sure the thermostat was set at 17 degrees and turned it down again as soon as the radiators were hot. It helped to just lift the temp.
Have done the same again this evening.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Not long posted on Daily Thread to say DH put heating on this afternoon. Forecast for here today was good but it has turned out so damp, dreich and cold! Unheard of for us to have heating on in August but also I had heating on once in July when grandsons here to stay and it was nippy at bedtime!
Our heating bills are not too bad but I really feel concerned that we used to put heating off probably sometime late May and not on again until sometime in September. These days it seems that you need it at some point every month.
