Have had it on from 4pm until 8pm set to 14 degrees for a while but when I came home early Thurs it was 8 degrees on hall thermostat
So I have set it on all day at 11 degrees.

To be honest (I do understand those that are worried or say it should go on) I really am not that cold, I have a duvet and blanket for tv watching, the dogs have coats and blankets and the kitten sleeps under the duvet anyway.
If I were going to stay here I would turn it on but as the move is going to mean a harsher winter without any heating or on tap hot water this seems the best way to get ready for it.
I keep the curtains drawn once it gets slightly dark and have a hat, gloves etc warm food every day so it aint all that scary really
Gosh, where are you going that has a harsh winter and NO heating at all? Even the eskimos have heating!0 -

im the same as you dundeedoll my walls mine cant be insulated either :mad: and my house gets so cold, im even thinking of exchanging as i cant put up with it.
My heating has been on most of the day except when i went out for a few hours but is now turned off. My house seems to hold the heat in more in the evening than during the day.I will lose 2 stone by this summer!!!!!!0 -
