On! It was cold when I was in the house earlier, then we had to be outside for a few hours and started to freeze. We've come in now boneachingly cold and put the heating on.0

Yes I expect now that BG have put their prices up the other energy companies will also soon anounce they will follow....
Two weeks ago there was a BG salesman in our area, knocking on doors, trying to get householders to switch to having gas & electric from BG. Now I know why! And IMO it's a mean trick to attract new customers at one rate, then a fortnight later put up the prices. If I'm over the hill, where was the top?0 -
Just had to put it on for a bit. It's so cold! I'm on the sofa with my two pets and a blanket watching the F1 (final race of the season). I'll let it warm up a bit and then I'm going to have to pyt it off!0

I've put mine on for a bit this afternoon as my windows still had condensation on from this morning.
I am thinking about buying a tumble dryer as I seem to be putting the heating on purely to dry clothes at the moment which is a bit silly, but without it, things take days to dry.Grocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100

still off. Ive tried to put it on the get rid of the chill in the air but within 1/2 hour i'm opening all windows and doors as it gets absolutely baking in here.
I cant bear it on, even a low temp makes it too warm. It generally heats up well in here anyway just the odd days there has been a bit of an underlying chill.
So hopefully i'll save a packet this year:beer:Capital one was £1000.00 now £0.00:j
Barclaycard was £250.00 now £190. 00
Asda credit card was £500.00 now £0.00:j

I turned our heating off last night. We certainly didnt need it on today, its been roasting here this morning. Might leave it off for a few days until it gets colder. Kids sat in t-shirts at the moment so they arent cold.0

Cold and damp here today, so the heating is on low. Have been brave and put a line of washing out in the hope that it will lighten a little. My feet are still freezing despite trainers and sox, might have to put my cosy slippers on to warm them through.
I hate winter when it's all dull and damp, quite like a bit of frost and a sprinkle of snow, last year though we all got a snow overdose I think!0
