Heating off last night and no condensation, even on the windows I didn't use wasing up liquid on. It is a riddle! (dh reckons the ventilation from the draughts in the house from gales outside was keeping it dryer....)

I tried the washing up liquid trick and there was no condensation in the bedrooms apart from a small amount in mine this morning, but i'm putting it down to different weather.

Got the heating on here today as other half is working from home and moans about the cold. Guess it will be good to see how much gas it's going to use roughly having it on all day.
    In Progress!!!

Feel quite warm tonight, no heating on. Managed to get some washing half dry, if I had managed to get home a bit earlier it might have been fully dry but the heavens opened. Never mind school uniforms in the wash heres hoping for a good drying day tomorrow.

It is milder here too. Heating off, today's washing dried on airers under back porch and all the upstairs windows opened for a couple of hours. I love giving a house a good airing.

Freezing here so it is on for a few hours this evening, though i am now submitting weekly meter readings on my energy suppliers website, so that i can determine how much it is costing me to use gas and electricity. I only recently found out i culd do this but it is a really good way for me to see what energy i am using, how much it is costing me and to see whether i am in credit or debit. At the moment i am in credit, fortunately!

The rest will probably follow suit :(

I`ve just seen it on the telly that wholesale gas prices actually came down 40% previously but only a 10% reduction was passed onto the customers, as soon as it starts to go up they forget about the other 30% decrease that they`ve just skanked everyone out of.

Fat cats lining their pockets once again, its about time their profits were capped to force prices down to a more realistic level! Any loopholes need closing too so that they can`t divert funds away anywhere to hide.

Its 3 degrees outside which is way warmer for this time of night than recently, 18 degrees inside so nice and steady here.

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

Hope everyone is OK after the awful storm yesterday, few bits of damage to gardens, gates and that sort of thing, my bbq was tossed clean across the garden.
No physical harm to anyone thankfully.
Yorkshire and Blackpool got a real clattering, thank goodness all that's calmed down. I'd rather have the cold weather thanks, heating bills and all.
