Is your heating ON or OFF?

We've decided that although we-the humans- are ok, I am starting to get worried about the cats being too cold, so tonight we'll turn the heating on for about three hours. Do you think this is sensible?0

Hi
Still off. Lovely and warm in London.:j:j:):)Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0 -
Warm and sunny here all day and tremendously windy all night, keeping us awake. Thank goodness that 2 of my solar blinds came today and they are now up and are lovely and very effective. You wouldn`t believe how HOT the sun makes most of the downstairs because it is so low in the sky. It just shines in under the verandah so it`s now hotter than summer inside on a sunny day. I have just ordered 2 more of those blinds. It`ll be brilliant to be able to eat without the sun in our eyes
We are very short of rain here and the harvester has been completely empty for days now. The allotment veg and weeds show no sign of slowing down0 -

I should imagine if they sit on you on an evening they will be fine.
Otherwise my mums cats (all 9 of them ) sleep in cardboard boxes/cat beds with blankets and are fine. Even just throwing an old jumper on the sofa will be fine for them.2 adults and 3 children DD (14), DD (12) & DS (10) :smileyhea and 2 mental beagles.

Thank you very much for the feedback re my kitties. I guess I spoil them and worry about them as they are old. They live on our bed most of the day and snuggle up to us when we're in bed0

We didn't need the heating on at all yesterday and although it's very wet and windy today it's still not on. DH might need it on when he comes home from work though in an hour or so. Hoping for a dry day tomorrow as the washing is starting to pile up a bit.

Totally understandable. Some of my mums cats are over 10 and 12 years old. I should think your bed would be lovely and warm for them2 adults and 3 children DD (14), DD (12) & DS (10) :smileyhea and 2 mental beagles.
