put mine on at 4pm. OH came in at 4.30 had a freak and turned it off again. Rekons it's a lovely day and i must be mental. DS turned on the spare computer in his bedroom cos he says that warms it up. I really hate being cold so am sat at the computer with a quilt round me.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

It gets pretty cold in Oz. We were up in Eungella (130k west of Mackay, Central Qld - 1500m altitude), to see the platypus. At dawn there was 6degrees of frost! We were cold to the bone as we had camped out with the bare minimum. Mind you, by 11am it was lovely and warm, about 18C. That`s what I don`t mind. Back here when it starts to get cold it STAYS cold for what seems like months on end.0 -
Well, gave in and put the heating on tonight, it was just too cold, even with a jumper and a hat on!! Quite proud I held out so long though!0
