Is your heating ON or OFF?

OFF! It's very cold, I've spent the last two days in pijamas, jumper, scarf & uggs and most spare minutes under a duvet, but we have costly storage heaters that just aren't worth using. My flatmate turned both in his room on last night, even though he knew he'd be out most of today. Needless to say, I turned them off and he hasn't even noticedLiving cheap in central London :rotfl:0

My heating clicks on when the thermostat hits around 9c!!! Am sure its calibrated very wrong!!! I know so I don't turn it up but the babysitter puts it up to 22/23c
Guess that would equate to around 40c LOL I have to open all the windows and doors after she has been :eek:0 -
Past two days weve had it on for an hour in the morning and then if its cold during the day I use an electric heater in the front room to warm it through.
We live in an old terraced house and it has the whole of the downstairs as open plan, which I like but very hard to heat all of the spaceMum, wife and dinnerlady!0 -
Off and I am in short sleeves as the tv is providing enough heat. I live in an eco house0

I put my heating on for half an hour in the mornings before I have my shower. I hate being cold after a shower or bath. If it gets cold during the day I switch it on for 15 minutes at a time, just to take the chill off.
I feel it's too early to put it on a timer but if it gets colder .........." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

Off, storage heaters are far too expensive to run. It is bloody freezing though. Sat on the couch in my dressing gown with a hot water bottle down my top. Brrr!0
