I had to put some heating on tonight. I was out on a survey all afternoon and early evening, and it was quite nippy out there, so got home slightly frozen. It's off now, but a nice, soft, warm fleecy jacket is taking care of me. ;)
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

All heating off today but then not been in much. I have a fleese over my legs and a fleeese jumper on at the moment and put on my new ankle slippers so all snug.
If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

Gas fire on this evening, and puddy cat curled up in front of it with an expression of bliss on his little face, aaahhhh! I think he's forgiven me ...

  • We have had the central heating on very little. We just moved house and the boiler is 31 years old and the gas meter flies around whenever it is turned on. We do have the gas fire on most days though but not normally for too long. Hopefully we'll get a new boiler before xmas and then we'll be a bit warmer.
  • Mine's still off but I guess I'm going to have to start putting it on soon for 20 minutes in the morning as it's getting harder to get out of bed! The bedroom and en-suite are the coldest rooms at just over 15 in the morning, the rest of the flat is warmer by a couple of degrees so don't need any extra heat there yet.

Same here - it's off but I had to light the fire or I would have been too cold to work on the laptop. I'm working from home these days and even daytime temperatures are very low - it's a cold house. So I think the central heating might go on in the next day or so.
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! :)
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!
