Still off, and I think this is the coldest morning so far this year after summer. Thermometer is reading 7c outside and 19c in.

My "look it isn't cold" thermometer says it's ok - but, it says OK between 17.5-23c. ;)

It's definitely off, and it is going to stay off for as long as I can. DH and I are seeing it as a personal challenge to not put the heating on until absolutely necessary, and so far we've been finding some good alternatives, like a snuggly blanket and a hot drink.

Hopefully we can manage into November without it!

Heating still off - and our windows & back door are always wide open to let the lovely fresh air in...
However, went on holiday last week to a cottage in wales - we put the log fire on every evening because it was there and all cosy looking...and now I have a cold!!!!!!

The one in my kitchen says it's 15C, and it's telling me to turn the heating up. The heating has just not long came on. It says it's cool but it's not - it's bl**dy cold!

Maybe the elderly would, or those with circulation or mobility problems. Doubt if it would be a problem for me though - I have plenty of body insulation. :o

Mine is on. Its freezing and I'm not getting cold - its bad for my health. Its not a competition.

Everybody should do what's right for themselves. To me it is a competition but I'm not competing with other people: I'm competing against British Gas and their ruinous prices. I got immense pleasure last winter togged up in my thermals and fleeces once the bill came in February and the heating cost me less than the year before. I'm looking to get it down to even less this year as I may not have a job after Christmas.
