Digital timer makes it 22 in the day and 19 at night, hours vary at the weekend. Rads all have thermo valves. Stays that way all year.I think....0

ours has been off most of the winter, house has never got below 17. it did start to feel cold this week at 17 as we had just had that lovely warm week. I know we struggled at the beginning, but fleece/woolly jumpers and primarks balnakets for £2 got us through ok!the infrequent times it has been put on, i have turned it off after half and hour as it felt too warm!0

Ours is mostly off at the moment, after the warm spell last week I had hoped that would be the end of heating this spring but it is so cold today that I have had to pop it on this teatime as our North facing kitchen is so cold. I'll go and turn it off now. DH is in the kitchen washing up (bless him) but if he's quick he shouldn't get cold. He has Raynaurd's decease and needs to keep warm.

I have it on right now, for a little while. It's beeb chilly and my flat faces north which doesn't help. I'll swiitch the heater on at 19:30 (been on since 18:45) and the room will be warm for the rest of the evening.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0

My thermostat is still on 10 degrees. I was very surprised yesterday when the heating came on morning and evening. It hasn't come on at all today though.0

Ours has been off for a week now and we've not really noticed so far. Nobody has moaned so they can't mind.
Would have to be heavy snow for us to turn it back on. The electric bill was enough to scare the pants off us without adding a big gas bill as well.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

Its been on since the start of the winter and this slightly warmer spell has not been enough to switch it off. Thats what the thermostat is for if it gets that warm.0

We've never had it on for the past fortnight except for an hour the other night. It's been realy comfortable and no one's complained.0

Ours is set to come on (at 20deg) for 7.00am-9.00am and 7.00pm-10.00pm (altered from 11.00pm) at the moment. Was thinking about altering it last week, but this week has been so chilly and windy here in the evenings that I've changed my mind for now - in fact we've just had hailstones .
I did say I'd leave it until 1st April and then switch it off altogether - so fingers crossed for some nicer weather.
