Just found this website. Lots of helpful info. I have to admit I turned my heater on last night...But after reading some of these posts I'm going to resist as long as I can. Even if it means walking around the house in layers clothes, multiple pairs of socks and a balaclava.
I could be arrested on suspicion of burglary but atleast I'll be warm, and saving on electricity.0 -
part of the coping without ch might be to do with having quick access to warm fleeces and clothes. I did my wardrobe today and have all the layering things ready. Lots of folks have put their winter stuff away and can`t lay their hands on warm clothes yet
I think it`s time to bite the bullet re the summer to winter sort out0 -
Really feel let down. My DH insisted on lighting a fire last night (coal) as he said the house was freezing. I was hoping to wait until November. Now i have got to order some coal as we have only got about a bag left. When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile0
