Our'sis still not on:A LOL. The kidz have decided to crack open their fleecy dressing gowns and furry slipper-socks to come down to brekky in, they sit there like mis-shapen Fimbles LOL but are perfectly happy. Until the chill permiatates these fluffy layers they won't ask for the heating on.
I'm off to the coast this weekend tho and I bet I will have to pop the heat on there, especially if the wind in on shore and damp.:mad:Life's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0 -

I nearly gave in last night as DH was moaning about me not letting him turn the heating on - but I remained steadfast and got him a blanket instead! I'm going to hold out until November. Kids have been asking for extra blankets on their beds so may not manage it.It's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.0

I cracked last night our bathroom was freezing and I wanted a long soak so we had it on for about 1 hour. DH put it on for an hour this morning as well and I switched it off when I got up, I dont think that was really necessary but when I phoned him before he said that he doesnt like to think of his girls being cold in the mornings (ah bless).Sorting my life out one day at a time0

I have just been to feed the neighbours fish, and they have had the heating on AND THEY ARE NOT EVEN THERE!!!0 -
still holding out here in Yorkshire although cheeky DD has sneekily put it on twice while I've been out. She's 18 and sruts around the house in skimpy tops declaring "it's freezing" No amount of nagging her to 'put some clothes on' seems to work! She's due to move into her own place after Christmas - I wonder if things will change then
I'm in process of putting up 'winter' curtains and extra layers on bed too.
Weather forecast seems to indicate a period of colder, wet & windy weather coming so I may have to give in at that point
