Deep seated hatred of Scottish Power and all who sail in her - would love to see Ofgem grow a pair and actually do something about it.4 -

Not on for me yet either. Currently 14.8C in my living room but it feels ok TBH. Im really hoping this years new windows will make a difference to how cold it gets in here.
I have set up my electric heaters though, all ready!4 -
I put mine on today for an hour just to take the chill off (its 1 degree outside). I have my flu jab later this morning so I will see whether I need it on again when I get home.

-2°C this morning with frost on the grass and windscreens.
The heating is coming on for a while just in the mornings. I am warm enough with a few extra layers of clothing.
Not very glamorous, but I have pyjamas, socks, and woolly hat, hot water bottle and flask of tea for bed. I have a large wool blanket folded double for a shawl, and fingerless gloves, to keep warm when reading in bed.

I was in the Midlands this week and woke up to frost yesterday morning, The rest of the day was beautifully sunny though. Back at home now and although its threatening rain, I'm nowhere near flicking that switch...No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I'm still living out of the kitchen at the moment until it gets colder and the heating goes on. Still 15-16C in here right now and and 11C in the bedroom but have not felt the urge to cave in yet as it looks like it's warming up again this week.3
