Very mild here. I was at Chalkwell beach yesterday and it was like summer with the amount of swimmers. Still off here and I have the windows open at night still.🙂

I hope that we can all afford to have some heating on after the budget.

I put my heating on for half an hour this morning to dry the laundry do I could put it away and do another load! It is still nice and mild outside, but I need a new washing line.

Its still wonderfully mild here for 1st November! If it stays this way I shall get the garden sorted this weekend

It was 15.0 deg C at 08:00 and only rose to 15.2 deg C by 10:00.
So, as it is now November, I lit the gas fire in my sitting room 12 minutes ago (10:08)

The thermostat has caused the heating to come on at least in the mornings in October. I check the weather forecast and wear extra layers as necessary. I have had to use the tumble drier several times as well when the washing has hung out all day and is still damp.
The bill has gone up by £31.95 for the month.

I had my heating on for a day, but thankfully the warm spell means that I have been able to turn it off again.

I'm feeling cold so I have switched the heating on for an hour or two. I'm sitting watching TV in a sleeping bag and with a scarf too. I sometimes feel chilly when I'm tired, but I don't want to go to bed yet.

Whilst it wasn't too bad last night, it felt true November when I went out for a stroll this afternoon - I wanted to walk whilst it was still light but it was cold, grey and drizzling. The sleeping blanket at the bottom of the blanket box is going to get an outing now!

Serious, well that's the intention. I might cave in before then though. Right now it is starting to be a bit chilly so, I have extra layers on and I will have to put a hot water bottle in the bed, find where ever I put it from last winter
