Still off here. The sun came out after 11am and burned any lingering fog away and I was surprised how lovely and warm it was, almost like summer. Much as I enjoyed the weather I know that this is just wrong for November, and those nearer the equator are paying a heavy price. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I watched the Remembrance ceremony in London on the TV and can never recall a time when all the trees were still covered in green leaves. Normally the trees are pretty bare by now or just harbouring a few last dead leaves..
in this temperate zone we are feeling the benefits in terms of fuel economy but yes, other zones elsewhere are really suffering. One does wonder where it will all end.6 -

It was warm during the day on Saturday here, but very foggy when we got back from London on Saturday night. It is foggy again this morning.
I am going to have to switch on the heating this coming weekend as we have a couple staying with us and I know she feels the cold as she was shivering last time when it was the evening in the height of summer!

I turned it on Friday night purely because I noticed the boiler needed repressurising so like to run it a bit after doing that... must say it was LOVELY to feel the warmth.

Mild and overcast all day with a few light showers but the previous to 2 sunny days have helped to raise the temperature indoors so it is still 17.6 now. Looks like it is due to be colder over the next few days.3

Two foggy/misty days here. House only 15 degrees and according to forecast for the next few days, no solar heating, aka no sunshine through the window to warm the room
. It can only get progressively colder. Holding out as long as I can.

Ours is still off at the moment. It can be a bit a bit chilly when overcast (17\18°)but as soon as the sun is out it warms the house nicely. We have 2 large South facing windows. It's also amazing the difference a fleece throw makes later on in the evenings whilst watching TV.4

Another ridiculously mild day for mid-November, despite the fog. @Kerreh - I have never repressurised a boiler but am now thinking maybe I should, what does that involve? No man is worth crawling on this earth.

) but it had dropped below that (likely due to bleeding the radiators)... I believe some boilers have green zones to indicate what's ideal for a given boiler...
Anyways - just below my boiler I have two little valves - I turn them to let water flow into the system and watch the bar reading, when it gets to what is needed I turn the valves offAim:12mth Emergency Fund -> £14264/£17076 (83%) Aim 2: Mortgage Overpayment -> Paused until other aim fulfilled.5
