It turned out lovely today, perfect gardening weather! I am hoping I get away without feeling I need to switch on the heating for another 5 weeks at least but I fear that is optimistic.Wednesday2000 said:It felt nippy when I first woke up, the thermometer said it was 18.1°C in my living room without my heating on. I went back to bed for a lie in and put a cardigan on too and when I woke up again it's not too bad now the sun is out.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

UK weather: Big drop in temperatures expected as significant strong winds and cold front arrive | UK News | Sky News
I did put the thermometer in my north facing bedroom yesterday afternoon and it is 2 degrees colder than my south facing living room. I did test out one of my thermal tops yesterday and it is very snuggly. I have got a heated throw that I will be trying out when the temperature dips.:)3 -

I'm not feeling very well so I've lit the multi stove tonight. I'm sitting quietly watching the flames, very relaxing.5
