  • Ours has gone on today. Glad we could wait 'till November this year. See you all next year!
  • Heating still off here in not so sunny Bournemouth. Still wearing my summer nightie and using the summer duvet. My goal is now to keep it off for at least another week.

Still off. I've beaten last year as I turned it on on the 3rd November. Haven't quite beaten 2011 when I lasted until the 7th.

Today ours went on for a couple of hours, but I switched off lots of radiators, only had it in bathroom, living room and DS's room, then switched off once the house got warm.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    ON!

I switched it on last night and it was on when I woke up this morning. It's economy 7 so I just have the downstairs one on. When it gets really cold I will switch on the landing one and if it gets really freezing we have two others upstairs.

It has to be really cold before we use the last two heaters though and they are normally not needed unless it snows.

It feels lovely and cosy in here today.:A
