Finally caved in and switched it on today. The man had a stroke a month ago, so I can't risk him getting cold.
Hope we get the warmer weather they're forecasting for the end of this week.Anchor yourself to the foundations of everything you love.
Thank you to all those who post competitions!:beer:0 -
Still holding on, but tonight I went to babysit in a heated home, it was bliss! I am seriously tempted.
In bed under thick quilt now, drinking hot camomile tea so I am nice and warm and will keep the temptation at bay for yet another night. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
I did put the heating on for 15 minutes yesterday just to test it was working which it was, other than that the heating is still off here.January GC: £64.81/£80.00

No heating on...of any kind. Just a thin fleece over my lap last night whilst watch TV and playing on my laptop. And it's set to get warmer by the end of the week...yay. I'm knitting a chunky jumper for myself at the mo, so keeping my fingers busy...and there'll be enough for a hat, so that's next.GC - Oct £36.17/£31

We did have it on once last week for 20 minutes. We were both sick, miserable and it was chilly. Having a service today so I suppose strictly speaking we did need to test it out
Been off since and it's not cold enough yet to consider turning it back on.0
