Not on . Yet......, determined to wait until November, but I've made sure, my loft is well insulated, I've got curtains up at the doors. And shutters are closed as soon as the sun goes down.
Will light the candles and ,these plus the heat from cooking will bring the house temp up to 19/20 so all doable,
xCCtoday's mood is brought to you by coffee, lack of sleep and idiots.

Not yet but it's feeling lots cooler in here due to the amount of rain we've had today. The energy provider has just reduced our monthly DD by £30 a month and we're still in credit, we must be doing something right!!0

Ours is on a timer. Switched it on a week ago as I have had a bad viral infection for the past two weeks and felt like I've been unconscious during the day, with a streaming nose, sore ears as well as vertigo.
We've had quite a bit of wind and rain too, so it is a lot cooler. It's on from 6.30am until 10.30am and from 5.00pm until 8.30pm, by which time, I am just about ready for bed anyway.Felines are my favourite

Was REALLY cold at work today, so felt quite warm at home.
Need to encourage OH to chop some wood small enough to fit in the wood burner, as every bit I picked up was huge, hence woodburner not on Grrrrr...Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Still off here, intending to do same as last year and just put it on for
xmas. After that it will go on low for a hr in evening if the temps drop
to minus silly. The house is very well insulated so a good thermal vest
under a jumper and a throw keeps us warm.Must admit it's very
tempting to leave CH on after xmas but paying for it is to much of a
worry.:(0 -
I have caved.......:D
I have the timer on for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening. Both radiators in lounge on, towel rail and my bedroom one on low. All others still switched off.
I'm probably more cold due to having just finished my night shifts so tired.
Need to sort out my winter bed this week sometime.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
Well I gave in this afternoon. Despite a full set of thermals, jeans, thick socks and two thick jumpers I was frozen. I switched it off after an hour though and I am tucked up under a fleecy throw now so although its a bit chilly in here I am cosy.0

Mine is off. 20.3C in my living room at the moment so there is no need. I shut the window blinds.
Beside, I have storage heaters, so they will be off for a while (I hope).
I have to give it, it is really cold outside, especially with that rain and wind0 -
I always aim to keep it off until October and since the start of the month it has been on and off however it is now firmly on as I have been feeling the cold.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0
