We are switched on now. Well, on the timer. I won't use it when there's just me in unless I'm really cold, and if I'm working then I'll only be in one room so will just heat that one.
Loved having my hot water bottle on my lap while I was at my desk last week...Bossymoo

Still holding on here, but rather mild weather means it isn't a sacrifice. When I go to heated homes (most of the people I know have switched on) I find it too stuffy now.
It is predicted to get warmer in the next few days, so with some luck we might make 1st November as planned. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -

Put the gas fire on tonight, mum and dad have just arrived home from holiday in Turkey and it's been hot. Didn't want them shivering when they called in tonight. Not put the CH on yet but it won't be long before it's on, certainly feeling the chill now.
