Same here..Brrr...I have actually put the heating on for half an hour. Poorly son has cough and cold so not going to risk it getting worse and his asthma playing up.0 -
Living room rad is on and so is bathroom towel rail. They will come on early morning, a little before coming in from school and then for a few hours of an evening and will be as standard. It will have to get very cold to switch the bedroom radiators on.
I am turning the thermostats down though as it is too warm at present.0 -
Temp was about 14 here today and wind as a chilly bite to it, had coat on when I went to the beach with the dog , put the GCH on for an hour tea time , I should really have lit the front room fire .....After the temps being in the low 20 s for the past month it certaintly felt chilly .....Heating will go on in the morning for an hour ....(was shegar now chickens 11)My motto is " one life live it ".....:)0

First day I considered putting on the CH low for a little while early morning but as our boiler has packed up, that luxury will have to wait a little longer. We will use heat as and when we need it but it will be a need and not a want. Had the oven on this eve and some clothes drying with the dehumidifier and they have really warmed the place up. Intend to start baking bread and cakes etc again so the oven will be killing 2 birds.0

No heating yet, a few more candles though. I've bought a cozy PJ jumper from t*sco though. Still using the tumble dryer and oven at dinner time which heats the flat nicely.0
