Is your heating ON or OFF?

So far our heating is still off. There is a slight nip in the air in the early morning and the evening, but not enough to justify putting the heating on. It's been so lovely recently that there have been plenty of good drying days too so the tumble drier hasn't been used much. I have heard that tomorrow the weather is going to get quite bad though0

Just back from few days oop norf, having experienced the difference in temp compared to Beds I took a couple of sweaters and my thermals. Fortunately didn't need the hwb I was offered as I was helping friends move house so was kept warm with exercise.
Back home and I'm in a short-sleeved top, doors and windows open, washing dried on the line in two hours. Fingers crossed it will last a bit longer yet.0 -
Our heating is set to 18 after 4pm and has just kicked in for the first time today, We're rural Cheshire. Time to bring a basket of logs in and get the throws on the sofas. I love the snuggly, squirrelly feeling when the nights draw in and we light the candles.....but hate the energy bills! Not dim

Northeast coast.
No heating other than the towel rail and 1 radiator that doesn't turn off for around 20 mins twice a day for wet towels.
Lovely and sunny here today, all windows and back door open as usual. You can tell a nip is starting to come in the air...but not quite here yet. Bedroom windows still wide open during the night, haven't been putting the fans on as much though now.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
Noticed condensation on my bedroom window in the night, no heating yet, but might have to locate the dehumidifier... For now I will just open the window as it doesn't feel cold at all.0

Lordy I feel so decadent I've had the heating on in the mornings since Sept and now I've just turned it on for two hours in the evening
Plus I've lit the stove a couple of days
It's warm enough as long as the wind doesn't pick up. The last few days it's been as low as 4oC in the mornings and is dropping to 10 in the evenings0 -
Still off here. The indoor temp hasn't dropped below 16c, well if it has it's been the middle of the night! The daytime temp is usually about 19c. We still have the bedroom and bathroom window open through the night.
I did feel chilly earlier but a nice warm bath, my winter dressing gown and boot slippers have sorted that.

Heating has not yet been on.
We're also in Notts - I recall putting my heating on for a couple of hours one Saturday night a couple of weeks ago, thats the only time I've felt remotely coolish in the house since Spring. I'm still in sandals and short sleeves every day, so theres clothes to put on and fleecy blankets to bring to the sofas yet, before my heating needs to go on.

Not even thought about putting it on here yet in Liverpool - in fact we've had windows open most of this week. I don't think it got below 16 Degrees Celsius last night so we're not even back in dressing gowns yet. This has meant we can still dry most our washing outside, hope it lasts a little longer.0
