Not had the heating on yet, in fact its only because the cat is grounded that we don't have the French doors open. That's North of Glasgow at the back end of September :-)0

I've almost forgotten how to turn ours on! I figure we could do with a boiler check, so not thinking about it until this has been completed.Swagbucks Amazon gift vouchers 2014 125/250

I put ours on purely for the fact that I read it does the boiler good to run it now and again, haven't needed it though.0

I can't remember the last time ours was on, it was probably March-May, however at the moment, where we are in North Yorkshire, it's relatively warm still, and no heating on yet. Though we are fortunate enough to live in a house that's only 5 years old. However, I have put a lot of effort into ensuring the house is always 100% drought proof!Live for what tomorrow has to bring, not what yesterday has taken away0

I did have to give the room where I work a quick blast with my fan heater at the weekend, but this was for the benefit of a client who'd come for a meeting! I have an office elsewhere which I use mainly so hopefully most clients will visit me there...
I am still in t-shirt but definitely felt a slight coolness along my arms last night.
So my first challenge is to see how long I can hold out before I put on jumpers etc!0 -
No heating on here, its been around 13 of a night and 20 to 24 during the days ,hardly any rain at all everywhere is parched, we don tget much rain on the east coast of England.......
But should it turn cold I will soon put the heating on as my health isnt too good and I will not compromise on the heating .......Ive learnt to eat very very cheaply and good food at that , so I can keep warm....Ive built a good credit up with my gas and electricity , and ive got a shed full of coal bought at summer prices, and ive got loads of firewood for free, so im quite happy .......(was shegar now chickens 11.)My motto is " one life live it ".....:)0 -

It has been so warm down here in the south that we are finding it hard to sleep at night! I keep seeing FB posts from people saying the same. Unseasonably fabulous weather at the moment which must be upsetting the gas companies0
