Still off here. Mornings are chilly but not much point putting it on for that, we're only in the house for an hour after getting up before we're all out for school run or work. Evenings feel colder too but kids are tucked up in bed by 8pm so they don't notice. Fleece blanket on sofa and some candles keep DH and I toasty.
  • Still off here and I must be getting use to the cooler nights as people at work have had there's on morning and night.

  • Still quite happily off here, but must admit it's the first time my feet have been cold for a while this evening :o

No CH on so far. Had log burner on for 2 nights last week though. Switched dehumidifier on though 3 days ago as its getting quite humid in house and noticed windows upstairs are starting to have water condensed
  • Mine is still off. In fact all our upstairs radiators are off the wall for redecorating.
  • no heating on here. its still lovely and warm down on the south coast. in fact, i didnt have my heating on at all last winter. the sun always shines through the windows - sometimes its like a greenhouse in here - and the heat from the flat below rises up!!!:j

its a very small flat, and if i just have the oven on for an hour, its roasting in here. very lucky. still get big bills though!!!! (what i would call big anyway: over £200 for a quarter, but it is all electric).
  • No heating on here yet. Mornings (and evenings) slightly colder but only a cardigan needed. Back door mostly open and clothes drying on line (so long as I get them out early enough and dry in the sunshine not the shade lol.

As always we will attempt to get to 1 November before putting it on.

There were a couple of evenings a few weeks ago when I felt very chilly so put the heating on for half hour just to take the edge off but only twice.

Heating is now firmly off and I am hoping to get to 1 Nov without it. It's not even slightly cold here and I am in short sleeved T shirt and perfectly fine.

I have an open fire and some free wood for this winter so hoping to keep the gas bill down as much as possible.

That said, I will not wait until 1 Nov or keep my heating off in a bid to save money IF we feel really cold. I hate putting money in the gas co's pockets but I hate being cold more!

    Keep snuggly everybody :D
  • I put mine on for an hour last night, I felt really chilly. Although it's back off today.

I'm decorating and have taken the old carpet up, the new ones not been fitted until 8 th October...so it doesn't feel very cosy here at the moment.
