  • No heating on here, bedroom at 12 degrees and living room at 16.5 degrees. Can't stand being warm and had to throw the duvet off me last night.

Having a debate with DD, she once again has tonsillitis and claims it's because the house is so cold. I have told her she is less likely for germs to breed in the house as it's too chilly for them! :D

I have found I am a lot healthier and catching less colds and other bugs now that we have our heating on less than we used to.

Have just clicked mine on outside of the normal hours as it's a bit nippy up north. The downstairs was 13 and i'm just mooching about today so want to be warmer.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

I too find I have had less colds and coughs this winter, it is just eldest DD that seems to get them but being at 6th form they probably spread the germs amongst them!

Heating on , I havent even cracked out the Winter Bedding!

Its been very mild so far this year where I live, so no need for the central heating to be on at all. Just some fleecy P'j and dressing gown in the evening and I am toasty.
Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.

I went mad and put the CH on for an extra hour at lunchtime. When my hands get cold I know to put some heating on, just for a while.

Heating still on 15c throughout the day, 7am - 8pm, I get changed for bed about 8pm and sit with a fleece, thermal sox and sometimes a hwb if the temp gets very low. The warmest place is the bedroom so I'm getting quite a few early nights :)

Heating is on twice a day , a couple of hours in the morning and 4 hours in the evening , sat with dressing gown, blanket and hwb. Would like to have it on all day but just can't afford it
  • Spent half the night making hot drinks and hot water bottles as I have a raging sore throat. Decided to stay in bed this morning so have put heating on for first time in weeks. (I have a woodburner in the kitchen which I usually use) feeling sorry for myself!
