Heating on in August???? :eek::eek:
Mind mum woke up this morning saying it was chilly , I just played deaf :rotfl:
When hubby said he was cold Sunday I gave him a jumper
But I think I may have to cave in and put it on for an hour in the morning, even though it galls me to do so this time of year
Most people I know have had their fires lit the past week. The wet weather has really brought the temps down. Barely reaching 12 compared to the mid 20's a week ago0 -
I have thought about putting a cardigan on and there is that autumnal chill in the air but I am hoping to go through until October without heating. It's certainly very windy here and uncomfortably drafty to have windows open. I am thinking of making soup for the first time in months, so that says something!Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

I absolutely refuse to put the heating on before I've been on my SUMMER holiday starting at the end of the month!
It's definitely much chillier and I've put on socks and a cardi for the first time in weeks, LOL! but that's as far as it goes.

We've put the heated towel rails on in the bathroom and shower room. I'm tired of soggy towels already.Better is good enough.0

I made a thick hearty veg soup at the weekend, and I'm going to make more today. My body feels the need for it now it's chilling down

No heating here yet, and I too still have a fan going some of the time as too hot......and i'm in the northeast. Still swimming in the sea, although haven't this week as yet as the wind will make it feel too cold.
However, my internal thermostat is broken and stuck on hot.....so depending on how long this last I will possibly last for a good few weeks yet before any heating.
I'm getting a bit sick of wet towels too....but just shoving them on the airer in conservatory to dry, it's still 70 degrees in there even on a cold windy day.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
